Posted January 3, 20196 yr Hi I am using Maven, and am wanting to extend one of my sponge plugins with code that uses the forge api, but the build system I am using is maven and don't particularly fancy migrating to gradle if I can help it. How would I add minecraft forge to my pom.xml? I have tried something like the following: <repositories> <repository> <id>Forge</id> <url>http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven</url> </repository> </repositories> <dependencies> <dependency> <groupId>net.minecraftforge.forge</groupId> <artifactId>MinecraftForge</artifactId> <version>14.23.5.2768</version> </dependency> </dependencies> but it does not find the artefact. January 3, 20196 yr Instead of using maven, you could probably just copy the finished jar to a repository and then add that to the build path. But, if you don't want to do that, I don't really know how forgegradle works, so you might want to check out the forgegradle github repo.
