I would like to create a custom crafting table type thing and ive created a gui of what i want, the slot labelled 1 will be able to contain a variety of items that fit within conditions same as 6 while 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be able to only contain 1 type of item and 7 an output slot.

And...? Which part of that do you need help with? Share your code.

Pretty much almost all of it cause i am very confused with 1.13 modding so i now have today downgraded my mod to 1.12.2 and now have been working on it though there with success but still am not sure how to create this in 1.13

Since this is your own crafting table with a custom recipe list you don't "have to" change anything between 1.12 and 1.13 here.

It would be nice to utilize the datapack feature for your recipes though to allow modpack and mapmakers to override your recipes and other modders to add new recipes easily without even needing to specify a dependency but that is optional.
