When 2 plants are next to eachother, they break? (1.12.2)

I have a mod called Farms X1 and when i place 2 seeds next to eachother, they both break.

i have no idea what to put here, so i'll just say you can edit your signature at https://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/settings/signature/

return (worldIn.getLight(pos) >= 8 || worldIn.canSeeSky(pos)) && soil.getBlock() == ModBlocks.diamondCrop;

This returns true if it has enough light or can see the sky and is placed on top of a diamond crop. And since you planted it on farmland, it breaks as soon as it's updated, since you said that it needs to be sitting on top of another diamond crop. Here is a potential solution:

return (worldIn.getLight(pos) >= 8 || worldIn.canSeeSky(pos)) && this.canSustainBush(soil);
