Every time I go to open the forge installer it shows this. I have uninstalled Java SE (the latest version) multiple times and each time it has worked, however when it comes to opening the Forge installer I get this message. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on?

How exactly did you install Java? When does this error occur?

I used the video above

Why on earth are you watching a video on how to install Java?!

Because there are extra steps involved. Such as changing the environmental variables in which isn't so obvious. Besides the video was just to show you on how I did it which is easily explained in the video.  Anyway, could you help me with the issue?

You installed Java 12 I just noticed. Forge needs Java 8.

Ah, thank you. I will try again tomorrow and hopefully it works. I'll let you know if it does.

I fixed it. I downloaded more Java files and it eventually worked. Thanks anyway.
