So, me and someone else have been porting one of our mods from 1.12 to 1.14, and encountered an issue with sky light, and we don't know if we're missing something, or if it's a Forge related issue.

Basically, when you first enter one of the dimensions, the sky light is normal, and works as expected for that session. After exiting and re-entering the world, the sky light vanishes for both dimensions, but fixes itself on next world reload, rinse and repeat. Getting some info on how to go about fixing the problem would be greatly appreciated!
