Is there a way to change where a lightning bolt will strike?

I am making a lightning rod, which will "conduct" the lightning so when an lightning strike occurs, it will prefer to the lightning rod.

I am not sure thats possible unless you edit baseclasses but you could when its thundering randomly cause thunder from within your TE to strike a random area around your conductor so that its possible it could hit your conductor

Yeah, I thought about this too, but the problem is that it is most likely that other lightning strikes occur too (which arent redirected)...

I was also thinking about reading out the isThundering() from the world object, setting it to false, and keeping a variable my own to spawn my own lightning strikes. but I see thats a bit devious.
