I install forge via the installer it says it installed 45 binaries. all seems fine until i open the launcher and select the forge profile, launch the game... Nothing, no forge no mod folder in .minecraft no nothing, Nothing to indicate forge was ever installed.

Ive tried to reinstall minecraft, forge restarting my pc. Nothing seems to work.

So I hope you guys can help out here.

I mean, did you select the Forge version in the profile?

There doesn't seem to be a option to select the forge version, I downloaded the latest version of forge and selected the latest version of minecraft though.

Ive installed forge multiple times and have only had this issue This time.

Hey!
Im trying put Forge1.13.2 into a new launcher.

First I made vanilla 1.13.2 gamefiles by adding it to versions and launch
Closed it and then installed forge (it said succesfulled)
Tried find forgeversion now from launcher but there is no forge1.13.2 version, only older 1.12.2 what I used and installed in old launcher

This is newest official minecraft launcher

Its very annoying, tried few different ways to make it appears or launch in forgeversion (manually located folders etc) but nothing! I just can find only Vanilla 1.13.2 even I have forgeversion on my appdata .minecraft/versions  folder

Okay so, I found some more stuff out. It doesnt install a selectable version when you try to select it in the profile options theres no forge 1.14.4 but it does show up in the versions folder in .minecraft, without a .jar file, only a .json file

Please show a screenshot of the whole launcher. Did you scroll the list all the way to the bottom?

So this is not true...

Use the new launcher.

Sorry I forgot to add that neither launcher worked, i started with the new one, didn't work tried the old one which also doesn't work

Its the same issue on both

Edit 2: I tried 1.12.2 minecraft and forge which worked flawlessly

Edit 3: Heres the json file, maybe theres some issue within it?1.14.4-forge-28.0.24.json
