When i try to install more versions of forge it wont show up.

When i go to the installer click the version 1.12.2 it downloads and i install it and everything but it wont show up in my installations. i cant delete the version of forge i already have installed. thats not a problem but when i download other versions they never show up after i install them. i tried restarting my PC deleting any other versions of minecraft and even putting the forge version in my minecraft folder. nothing helps.
