So this is what I did. First I made or selected a new installation for forge 1.11.2 and deleted my old mod folder. Then I changed the directory to \.minecraft and restarted minecraft with a new human made mod folder with a mod in it. I loaded in and I only had the 5 mods that come with forge and not mine.

I cannot find that file I am in my log folder and I only see GZ files. The files names are like 2019-04-15-2log.gz non of them say debug.log. Also I understand to not treat this like a chat room
