How to Filter Profanity From Chat

My little brother plays on a multiplayer server and I've been trying to set up a profanity filter with forge so he can use chat for commands. I've tried many plugins like TabbyChat and can't seem to find one that works. Even if I could hide all messages from other players and only show command info that would be fine.

    so there's a little trick in vanilla where you can hide chat and still use commands. if you go into Options>Chat Settings...> then click on "Chat" until it says "commands only"
