Forge keeps failing under installation

I tried installing Forge on my mac. But every time i try installing it, it just reaches about halfway done. And then says there is an error in slim.jar and extra.jar and does not match the expected.
I tried looking for solutions. And there are people with similar problems with those two files, but with no solution.
Tried installing Forge ver. 1.14.4-28.1.0 for Minecraft ver.1.14.4 on Mac OS system Mojave Vers, 10.14.6
