I'm been trying to run a forge server with RLCraft running. When I log into the server my HUD is the same when I'm in RLCraft but none of the other mods are working. Don't believe that this is a RLCraft problem.

In case I missed this, you did install this client side correctly? Also, if the world rendered in Vanilla minecraft (default boot, no mods) then maybe it's just an issue of the world render isn't correct however the items are still there. If the items aren't there, then maybe check: do you have a mods folder inside the mods folder? The jars should be extracted inside the mods folder directly, not into another folder (so it should look like this: Desktop->"Server"->Mods->a bunch of jar files)

Forge searched C:\Users\Bryan\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\server\.\mods for mods and did not find any.

Also, please don't put stuff in .minecraft.

That just means that you installed the mods incorrectly. Try extracting the .zip or the folder into the mods folder. There should only be one mods folder.

So where should I put the folder or does it matter? I've removed it already

Okay, so I'm going to assume you downloaded a folder that contained 2 folders named "mods" and "configs" and maybe a few extras. You want to take everything inside that mods folder (jar files) and move it into your server's mods folder (so that now when you go into your server's mods folder, it will have a lot of jar files in it). Then you want to move the config files (.cfg, and a bunch of folders) into your server's config folder, so that now when you click into your server's config folder it shows a lot of other folders with mod names and cfg files.
