Hello. I have a newest, clean installation of Minecraft 1.14.4 lanuncher and Forge 28.1.0. When I try to launch the game, it crashes, giving a debug.log file shown below:

I have Java version 11 and heard that it might can cause problems, since Forge runs on java 8, but with previous version (minecraft 1.13) everything worked fine. I tried to install forge with java 8, but can't force Minecraft Launcher to use it as a default.

Your issue is that you are running Minecraft with Java 11.


How can I access this window? I  use Ubuntu if that matters, but cannot find this view anywhere

Okay, I've managed to find it and changed the java executable there. Thank you A TON, you just saved my Sunday evening!
