I need some good and detailed GUI tutorials for Forge. There is literally nothing in the regular minecraft forums and the one on the wiki is too complicated. I searched for hours trying to find some on Google but I couldn't find anything. (they have to be text tutorials, I can't follow video tutorials that well)

    I'm not trying to copy-paste the code. It's just there is a lot of code and barely any explanation on that page and it's making my head spin. And I also need to know how to create custom short cut keys (that you can change in the option menu) to open a custom GUI. And I need to know how to edit the player HUD too.

    The code on the Wiki is pretty easy to understand. It is an intermediate tutorial after all.

    The first two prerequisites are:

     

    Prerequisites

        An understanding of java

        An understanding of vanilla minecraft and a basic understanding of forge

     

    IF you're having a hard time try studying the Forge Javadoc and experimenting with the code.
