Need help defining what texture is front on multi textured block

I have a multi textured model for a block file, and I want to make that block be directionaly placeable. I have added the necessary code to the blocks java file i just need to know what to set as front for the block states json as shown by the example below. photos of block added for reference.

 

EDIT: I forgot to mention this is for forge 1.12.2.2847
