Nebie here, mods not working

Hello all,

I'm trying to install the Enigmatica 2: Light modpack for 1.12.2. I installed the Minecraft: Forge 1.12.2, using the installer link, (not the windows one, if that matters). Everything went well, no errors were encountered. I downloaded the Enigmatica modpack, unziped it, and copy + pasted it into my Minecraft mods folder (the one forge creates). I run Minecraft on the Forge Profile, and it doesn't detect Enigmantica. When I create a new world, it just runs vanilla. I'm sure people have run into this issue before, so please direct me to whatever has the solution to my problem. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong area of the forums, please redirect me if necessary. Thanks!
