Help - How can I replace modded ores with stone?

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way for me to replace all the ores from a specific mod with stone. I want to do this because I am removing this mod and I do not want holes in my world generation because my friend and I have been playing on this world since early Minecraft 1.3

 

We are using our own custom modpack that is using the Minecraft Forge API, we are currently running the modpack on Minecraft 1.4.7 and we plan to update to Minecraft 1.5.1 but we do not want to reinstall this specific mod because the mod no longer offers support from 1.5 + which means when 1.6 comes out we will not be able to update our modpack.

 

I am aware that Forge will automatically remove the blocks upon joining the world but I don't think that it replaces them with anything.

 

Please help.
