Hello there. I have created a fluid in the game (a kind of oil), I can control how fast and how far it flows, however I can't actually change the speed a player walks through it.

When a player walks up to it they just walk through it as if it is air, any ideas on how I can fix this?

Is anyone able to help with this?

Sorry for the late reply.

But I think you need to set the Density inside.

FluidAttributes#createAttributes()

You can also change the colour and some other stuff there.

Edit: After some more looking, I saw that Density is already set to 1000, which means your Fluid has already density... I'll try to take some more looks

Fluid movement is explicitly checked for anything in the water tag. One way to fix this would be to append your fluid static/moving block to the water.json tag, however, then your fluid would act like water as well. Another way to do it would be to update the tick event for the player and change the movement there, however, that could also lead to some movement bugs within the water.
