Hello,

I am learning how to create mods using the MDK. I was able to configure the mod folder and import the project into Eclipse. If I run the program even without editing anything it crashes with the following message :

[Render thread/ERROR] [ne.mi.ev.EventBus/EVENTBUS]: Failed to resolve handler for "net.minecraftforge.fml.network.simple.SimpleChannel$$Lambda$2232/0x000000080139e840@471d6571"

I am coding on Ubuntu. I have multiple jdk, with openjdk-8 as the default on.

The crash report  :

// But it works on my machine.

It's using Java 13 instead of the Java 8 installation you want it to. I don't use Eclipse, but this should tell you what to do to change it to Java 8.

I'm eager to learn and am prone to mistakes. Don't hesitate to tell me how I can improve.

The parameter "Installed JREs" wasn't available for some reason, so I had to reinstall eclipse. But now it's working. Thank you very much !
