Looking for help updating the "Helpful Villagers" Mod

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. I've recently made a weekend project out of updating the Helpful Villagers Mod from 1.7.10 to 1.8.9 (with the goal of further updates in mind).

I've already done most of the dirty work, decompiling and deobfuscating the source code as well as fixing any obvious errors. Currently, I am able to build and run the mod in 1.8.9, however there are several issues that prevent the mod from retaining its core functionality.

For example:

• the GUI for the villager's inventory is not appearing in-game
• no "guild halls" are being detected.
• the game occasionally crashes on villager death

I know enough Java to make some quick fixes, but this is my first ever Minecraft modding project and it would probably be better for someone more experienced to look at it.

I've attached the source code and would greatly appreciate if anyone could offer some help! (who knows, I might even give a small $ tip!)
