Saving player individual data 1.14

I am attempting to store data that is individual to players. How would I do this?


Specifically, I would like to create a list of abilities that different players can have and unlock.




Player1 has a water affinity. (randomly assigned per world)

Player1 gains the ability to summon water by pressing 'G' after taking drowning damage

Player1 loses the ability to summon water after taking fire damage
