Issue with downloading Forge 1.12.2

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I've been having.

 

I'm trying to download forge 1.12.2 for a mod pack that I wanted to add to Minecraft however after I download forge it occurred to me that it isn't making any progress. The forge download is about 1/4 of the way done and it doesn't change. I don't have any troubles with downloading the newer versions but 1.12.2 won't download and I've tried re-downloading it, waiting it out etc. and nothing seems to change. To put things in perspective I'm on a Mac version 10.12.6, if you can help me out please respond, thank you!
