Multiplayer Custom NPCs

So my friends and I are trying to play around with Custom NPCs on a server, but the skins are showing up untextured for each other. For example, he'd give an NPC a skin, but I wouldn't be able to see it, and vise versa. We can see the names, dialogs, models, etc. we just cant see the skin itself. Is there anything we're missing, or is this a bug?

You should probably ask this question to CustomNPCs, not Forge in general, unless you already have.
