Posted June 13, 20205 yr I am wondering how to position my items in a way so that it looks like i am holding them like a real person would. I've seen a couple forums that seem to have helped people but they don't make sense to me. If anyone has any advice that would be very helpful.
June 13, 20205 yr If you're specific to your items only, Blockbench (a modeling software) has a tab called 'Display' that allows you to adjust your items in each camera view. If you're talking about all items, you would need to override RenderHandEvent and adjust the translation, rotation, and scale of the MatrixStack, but this would be in effect for anything in the player hand.
December 11, 2024Dec 11 I also need help with this, I tried making a Pocket tools texture pack (which means small versions of items) and rotated every item straight up, it ended up looking like it was floating there and sticking to the player's arm. One good thing is that it actually looked pretty great in first person. Edited December 11, 2024Dec 11 by Zenstarfire some more info
