Problem with installing new Forge version

Hi there!
I have currently a problem with installing Forge.
I was playing on 1.12.2 version with Forge, Optifine and textures - everything was fine. I decided to install 1.8 version with Forge, because some days ago I started playing more pvp games.
I installed Forge 1.8, but it was crashing - maybe because I still had 1.12.2 version.
I thought then I just have to delete the Forge 1.12.2 in version folder+mods folder. Did it, and tried to install Forge 1.8. Well... Every time Forge installer is stuck at "tried to unpacking library folder". I tried to delete the libraries folder, tried to delete Minecraft folder, tried to uninstall Minecraft. Did it multiple times and nothing works.
Maybe you will say that the 1.8 is outdated, but wait - like 3 days ago I told my friends to install 1.8 version Forge, they did it and everything was fine. And, they had "blank" Minecraft before that install, without any installed Forge before.
Is the old Forge in folder somewhere? What should I do?
Please help ASAP, as I am trying to get high level in BedWars before the holiday but I am stuck.

driver issue bug

okay so, for reference im using The Obsessed mod, (not sure if it helps, but might as well include it), and it shows the driver issue popup in the logs, so i go through the three solutions, but it still pops up and minecraft doesnt. can i have some help? thanks! :)

Forge 1.20.1 OpenAL 40963 and 40961 in DynamicSoundFilters

I copied the mod from Fabric to Forge, but errors 40963 and 40961 appear, I still don’t know the reason, I tried it in a single world, it doesn’t reproduce, the reason for the error is unknown, sometimes it exists and sometimes it doesn’t. andre111/dynamicsoundfilters: GitHub repository
The ported code to Forge is no different from the original, so you can use the source code for testing. The same error occurred on the Fabric build, mods that were on both builds:

I only know that the error occurs along the following path: MixinSoundSystem call onPlay -> FilterManager call updateSoundInstance

It is, but that is mainly to set up configs per player, I think. I don't believe it is messing chest inventories. I can try to remove that one tho and see if it fixes anything.
