Loot table issue

Hello! I have started a Minecraft Forge account to get help with a mod I am working on. I am currently using version 1.16.1 - 32.0.44.

 

So I created a basic loot table for my custom block, but the block won't drop when I mine it in survival.

 

Here are some files. First, BlockInit.java.

Finally, ruby_ore.json.

 Is there anything wrong with these files, or could this possibly be a bug? I would appreciate your help.

First of all, use a data generator.

 

Second of all, your ruby_ore file is not a json file.

Don't be like me, folks. always make sure you type an extension at the end of your mod file names.
