Forge 1.12.2 Is Not Working! Help!

I need help! I downloaded Forge 1.12.2. When I go to play it in the Minecraft Launcher, it crashes without bringing up any loading screens of crash logs. I haven't downloaded any mods yet and I tried deleting and re downloading multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Please help me!
