Mod, maybe game addition.

I think I have come up with a creative way to add auto crafting to minecraft. Use the nitwit villager. Have the crafting bench be his work station give him a 9 space inventory that you can modify, and lock, that way he only picks up what he is instructed. As long as he is in front of the work bench he would craft one block per second. This would be slower than crafting yourself. However the automation allowed would be amazing. Thoughts?
