[1.16.3] Registering a new biome feature

How do I register a new feature? Every method I've tried so far failed.

BiomeLoadingEvent for pre-existing biomes and within the JSON itself for new ones. Then just grab the BiomeGenerationSettingsBuilder and call withFeature iirc.

I'm not asking on how to add the new feature to a biome - I'm asking how do I register it in the first place.

Features are still registered the same way as any other forge registry.
