How do I create a SoudType?

I've been working on my first mod in MCreator, and my goal is to backport Basalt blocks, as well as some others to 1.12.2. I found out that I need to make my own soundtype in order to sounds like breaking, placing or walking on a block to function properly. I have sounds needed already imported into the mod and soundevents were made (for each one). What should I do next? I couldn't find anything about it before unfortunately.
