1.10.2 forge not loading

Hello, I am trying to play on my FTB server but i need 1.10.2 to play on it, i have installed forge on my mc launcher multiple times, and it says in the minecraft application support folder (im on mac btw) that it is there but when i open up the minecraft launcher it doesnt come up, only the 1.12.2 version even though i extracted that version.Please Help!

  Then the level.dat is broken Create a new world with the same settings Then copy the level.dat, level.dat_old and session.lock from the new world to the broken one Delete the new world and test the broken one - if this is working, upload this world to the server
