So, I decided to load up minecraft today after taking a break and wanted to use

release 1.12.2-forge1.12.2-14.23.5.2847

the minecraft launcher has a new update out and now I cannot seem to create any installions of Minecraf that are not

1.16.x

Would anyone else be able to tell me if they are also having this issue
