I wanted to play with a friend to a vanilla with 1.12.2 mod and no work..  I also tried to install other version and it didn't work anyway..

    the most recent version is 1.16.4 as I install it it says it does not work, this does it for all versions of forge

    when i install something that needs to go to minecraft it tells me: the file doesn't have an associated app to perform the action. install an app or, if it's already installed, create an association on the app's default settings page.
