Aether 1.7.10 Crashing

I was in the Aether on a private server (hosted on my pc), and I killed a mob that dropped some dye from what I could tell before the game crashed. Every time I try to log back in, it instantly crashes after I see one frame of a very zoomed in aether grass block. Any ideas as to what happened?
