Can vanilla servers detect .setKeyBindState()?

Essentially just the title, does anyone know if there's a functional difference between me holding down a button (ie: sprint) and setting it to be held down with:


KeyBinding.setKeyBindState(mc.gameSettings.keyBindSprint.getKeyCode(), true);


I can't imagine that there's another way for ToggleSprint mods to work other than this, but I just want to double check if a server can actually tell this apart from the real thing and don't know how I would test this on my own.
