255 error

Hello! I have a MacBook and when I downloaded the latest version of Forge for Minecraft(1.16.5) I keep getting the 255 error. Keep in mind that I have no mods currently installed.

The error reads: "The game crashed whilst initializing game. Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: GLF error before init: [0x10008]Cocoa: Failed to find service port for display

Exit Code: 255"

I have un-installed and re-installed Minecraft, java, and forge multiple times. Can someone please help me with this?
