Adding RAM to a forge 1.12.2 modded server

Hi Guys,

ive been trying to make a modded server for my girlfriend and I but I’ve been having trouble making the server. I tried creating a forge server using Java 8 and was able to get to the point of playing some small mods but as soon as I tried to push the ram past 1 gig, the run.bat file would open and immediately close. I feel like it’s because the server runs at 32-bit and limits the ram. Is there anyway to make it use more than 10 gigs as I intend to use around 120 mods.
