Posted February 22, 20214 yr I've tried launching minecraft with forge-35.1.4 for 1.16.4 on Curse, and I get the same error message whenever I try to launch it. The issue persists if I try to install forge outside Curse. The jar file simply doesn't run. Here's the launcher_log.txt. https://pastebin.com/6zB0vUmv

Do you have Java installed? How are you running the installer? I have it installed. I've even reinstalled at least a few times. I tried running it by simply double clicking or even via the command prompt in which case I got the error "Error: Unable to access jarfile".

It appears special characters in my windows user name prevents it from finding the file. I literally put the jar in C:\ and used the command line to run it. It opened the forge jar.
