Can someone please help me I do not know how to start modding.  I know the basics and wanted to try it but could not find anything really that helped me for 1.6.1.  I saw someone create new folders inside mcp and others editing the the source files.  I would just like to know how to start from the begging when you open eclipse and choose the workspace.  If anyone can help out I would appreciate it.

I am also new to modding, but the setup was really easy tho...

Here is some few links that helped me allot!

Setup your main class:

Create your first item:

http://www.minecraftforge.net/wiki/Basic_Items

Create your first block:

How Textures and icons work:

I have already learned allot of things and got a basic idea how the stuff work by following these links.

But I prefer Minecraft Forge Wiki, I understand it much better... but of-course that is my personal option.
