help me, my menicraft does not show any forge version to me

when i install the forge and go to the minecraft and try to use the 1.14.2 forge version or other forge version it doesn't show any version and i wish someone could help me and tell me how to fix it

how did you fix it? im having the same problem. no newer versions of forge are appearing even though it says that it installed. Edit: i figure out my problem i didnt realize that curseforge being open counted as the minecraft launcher being open so just closing that and installing again fixed the problem.
