Forge 1.8.9 is not working.

So I am a Hypixel main. I ussually always play 1.8.9 on a client such as badlion or lunar. i recently realised that skblock addons, one of the mods included in these clients was kind of bad. i wanted to download NEU or not enogh updates. so it is a mod in 1.8.9 and when i downloaded the forge version for 1.8.9 and clicked open with Java (TM) Binary nothing would open! help pls

Hey, the same thing is happening to me. I've been searching for around 3 hours now and nobody seems to have the answer. The frustrating thing is that 1.9 installs just find but 1.8.9 doesn't seem to work. Everytime i try to install it I get a new note installed on my computer saying:

      I tried do download the essential mod to my mod pack but i didnt work. I paly on 1.21 and it should work. I use neoforge for my modding. The weird things is my friend somehow added the mod to his modpack and many others that I somehow can´t. Is there anything i can do?

      Thanks, I've now installed a slightly newer version and the server is at least starting up now.

      Do you have shaders enabled? There is an issue with the mod simpleclouds - remove this mod or disable shaders, if enabled
