Hello, I have a Mohist server with Forge version 47.4.13. After installing the Valarian Conquest mod and joining the server, any player right-clicks the server and crashes. It's clear that the Valarian Conquest mod is causing this, but is there any solution to fix it? I launched a test server with this mod on a new world, and the same thing happens. She didn't install Java 8 at first and tried to launch from my custom CursedForge instillation of the mods for our server (I legit copy and pasted the folder into google docs so she got the EXACT files on my instillation and on our server.. worked fine for my other friend), which opened the MC launcher and then when she hit "play" MC launcher said that Java 8 was not installed and that she needed to install it (this is for mc 1.12.2). So I instructed her to download it and no matter what she downloads, no matter how or where she tells the launcher to find it through the java executable tab it does not recognize her java 8 she installed (she has both jre and jdk). It's odd... is there a certain build or kind of javascript that will work while others break? What kind of Launcher is used? The default Minecraft Launcher already contains Java 8 - so there is no need to install a separate Java installation

My friend has an iMac laptop (apple silicon, same as mine except mine is a desktop). She has jre 8 installed and jdk 1.8 (yes the arm versions where installed) installed on her computer, but when she tries to launch the custom modded instillation for my server that's 1.12.2 it says she does not have java 8 installed. Mine runs fine and I have had no issues, I did not need to force it to find any file. She does have jdk 25 and temurin 17 installed also, idk if that is causing an issue? We went through the instillation and forced it to find the java file by selecting it in the executable line , but after we tried that, it still says the same error message. When we launched terminal to try and find the home for java 8 it keeps finding some java plugin that's not the main java file. Even when we select the java file in the jdk 1.8 folder it still says java 8 is not installed! I know a bit more then her but I'm no expert. Can anyone here help? She can't play on our 1.12.2 server until I can figure out a fix. Any info or help is appreciated!

Sounds like the Oculus mod is conflicting with Embeddium! Could you try removing or updating it to see if the crash stops??

Okay, the fix is to remove mixinextras-common from dependencies in the run configuration.

If you aren't using mixin extras then you can remove mixinextras-common from libraries in build path then it should work.

Nvm was infact able to get 1.1 Forge to work finally. Currently running, mod tested, and working fine on the current modern minecraft launcher

After much trial and error I also checked in with the COFH Discord and was able to find out that "DupeFix Project" was responsible for the crash (java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: cofh/thermalexpansion/gui/container/storage/ContainerSatchel). After removing that mod everything worked.

I can confirm after more testing that it is an issue with Thermal Expansion, If I remove all Thermal mods and slowly add them back (COFH Core -> COFH World -> Thermal Foundtion) when I add Thermal Expansion 5.5.7.1 the crash starts which is weird considering the mod is used on many other 1.12.2 packs.

Can you reproduce this on 1.21.11-61.0.8? And definitely not in Vanilla? If so, I'd recommend reporting it on GitHub, making sure to provide all the information requested in the issue template.
