  7. Your mod-id named folder in resources... is it all lowercase?
  8. Is your mod scmcraft?
  9. What version are you using?
  10. That's not Java edition, that's Bedrock/Windows 10 Edition
  11. This is a .1.12.2 log Note that in mod dev your debug.log will live in run/logs, not .minecraft/logs
  12. I seem to recall this happening when something goes wrong with resource loading. Please provide your debug.log using one of the paste sites in my signature below.

  14. Oh you're looking at the "How to manually run a jar" video, that's the wrong one. Though he's just using it to open cmd, your equivalent would be opening finder, going to Applications/Utilities, and running Terminal
  15. You could explain what's going wrong with the method in my video...
  16. You've said you tried switching the option but Twitch switched it back, that's why I recommended the method in my video
  17. I know what directory it's expecting, but I don't know why the directory isn't already created and filled
  18. That's not your issue, your issue seems to be a required directory not being present and it worries me that it's not been filled by the launcher when you're trying to launch the game
  19. 1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  20. It shouldn't be that much different, just make sure you have the Minecraft launcher and Java installed, run the launcher once to make sure all the default files are present, then close the launcher and run the Forge installer, then open the launcher and make a new installation that uses the freshly installed Forge version and set the Game Directory to use the modpack's instance directory. (I recommend https://adoptopenjdk.net for Java)
  21. I would actually recommend using Twitch to download and install packs but not to run them. There's a video in my signature on how to set up a launcher installation (really more of a profile but Mojang calls them installations) that will start a Twitch modpack from the regular Minecraft launcher. (It's under the logs section)
  22. Are you trying to say you're using the jar launcher? Just use the native launcher.
