cpw.mods means you have a VERY old mod installed, that package was moved and renamed long ago. From the naming in other parts of the error I think it may be BetterFoliage that needs an update (I thought you said you just updated everything with a CurseForge version?).

I would recommend replacing each mod with the latest version from CurseForge, might take a while but I don't trust 9Minecraft in the slightest.

It is bad, check out http://stopmodreposts.org and download their browser extension. https://minecraft.curseforge.com is the most reputable source of mods at this time.

You need to update TConstruct, this is not a mistake on the part of the TConstruct Dev. Another mod is trying to use a method that was updated in more recent versions, the other mod is trying to use the new format while the old TConstruct is providing the old format, the two do not agree.

Is this a pre-made pack or one you made yourself?

You need to use Java 8, Minecraft is trying to use 9+ which lacks older functions that Forge for 1.12.2 and below rely on.

You said you were using start.bat, your start.bat is set up to launch a spigot server. To launch Forge just use the same command but replace the name of the spigot jar with the name of the forge jar.

launcher_log.txt will not be in the same place as the other logs. It is next to the launcher executable. My memory is foggy, it is in the .minecraft directory.

At the very least there should be a launcher_log.txt generated in the same directory as the launcher's executable .minecraft, can you post that using the method described in my signature?

If you want to use server plugins with Forge the only option right now is SpongeForge, and if you do that you will need to replace all your plugins because Spigot plugins aren't likely to be compatible with Sponge.

Forge and Spigot cannot be run on the same server, if you want server plugins while running Forge you will need to switch to Sponge and SpongeForge.

Is there a 1.12.2 folder in the mods folder? If so check there.

It looks like you might have the wrong version of OptiFine installed.

This was fixed yesterday, it hasn't been released on CurseForge yet but looking at GitHub I believe the new build is probably going through Curse's approval process right now.

How are you launching the server? What file are you using to launch the server?

Oh you are trying to install Forge? I thought you had already installed Forge and were having issues trying to start the server. The image you submitted had the correct command, but you were using the wrong file. You want the one that says [...]-installer.jar rather than [...]-universal.jar Note: The most recent versions of the 1.12.2 installer have a small change that should stop you from requiring the special command. If it still fails, use this link to download the vanilla 1.12.2 server jar directly, and put it in the folder you are trying to install the server to. DO NOT change the name of this file or the installer will not properly detect it.

Are you using the Twitch launcher or the Mojang Launcher?
