Ah, I tried the installer and it says that it installed a profile but I cant find one in my mc launcher?

The reason im doing it is because the when I try run the windows installer nothing happens

I tried again and this time it said: Error: Unable to access jarfile forge-1.12.2-14.23.0.2491-universal.jar

I have read other topics and none of them have worked. I am entering java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.0.2491-universal.jar I am just getting the error message: Unrecognized option: -jaraforge-1.12.2-14.23.0.2491-universal.jar Error: Could not create the java virtual machine. Error: a fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
