It's a question me and a lot of others have asked as well. An answer and a suggestion: A: LexManos and cpw have repeatedly stated they wish to implement their own block hooks. S: Since this is a widely-needed feature, why not accept one of the 9001 block hook PRs first, then replace it with their own implementation when the time comes?

Why is it, though, that so many people are having trouble with scala? (edited your post by mistake, I meant to quote, oops) I'd give you an answer, if I knew. Please, cpw, only make downloading the scala library jar compulsory if we need to use a scala mod!
