Yeah its not working with Optifine either, I just get the black screen (and yes i've deleted meta-inf). Its forge itself, somethings wrong with it but I just don't know what.

Optifine? hmm never heard of it, i'll give it a shot

I have the latest version of forge and minecraft, no mods are currently installed just a texture pack.
