  1. SOLVED: After uninstalling Minecraft completely, backing up my saves, deleting .minecraft, reinstalling and then running Forge, it worked.
  2. Weird. i'll look into it some more, run it on different computers, and try to find out what's causing the problem. I'll update If I find anything
  3. Absolutely nothing. Mods folder is empty It happens in every single forge version after 2628, regardless of any setting I put into the launcher.
  4. latest.log This log is from build 2629, the first build where it crashes. Or if you prefer it as text: (It's just as useless as the client log) [22:23:50] [main/INFO]: Setting user: BlockyNoob [22:23:54] [main/INFO]: LWJGL Version: 2.9.4 [22:23:58] [main/INFO]: Reloading ResourceManager: Default, FMLFileResourcePack:Forge Mod Loader, FMLFileResourcePack:Minecraft Forge, FMLFileResourcePack:mercurius_updater [22:23:59] [Sound Library Loader/INFO]: Starting up SoundSystem... [22:24:00] [Thread-6/INFO]: Initializing LWJGL OpenAL [22:24:00] [Thread-6/INFO]: (The LWJGL binding of OpenAL. For more information, see http://www.lwjgl.org) [22:24:00] [Thread-6/INFO]: OpenAL initialized. [22:24:00] [Sound Library Loader/INFO]: Sound engine started [22:24:05] [main/INFO]: Created: 512x512 textures-atlas The crash happens instantly, like 0.2 seconds after clicking "play"
  5. Crash started occuring at version Build 1.12.2-14.23.2.2629 Everything before that works fine. Changelog states mezz: Fix up logging and log4j configuration (#4802) so I guess it has something to do with the log but I really have no clue what's going on.
  6. Curent status: Installing versions until I find which one started the crashing, since really, the log is useless atm.
  7. I installed the latest 1.12.2 Forge. It crashes before the Minecraft window even opens, something that didn't happen with the recommended version. The log barely even has any content: This instance of Forge is running on a clean folder, no mods, nothing. I tried forcing Minecraft to use an updated Java as well, and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing. Any ideas what's going on?
