    Minecraft forge 1.7.10 wont show up on the minecraft launcher profiles

    I've been using minecraft forge for the past few weeks and all has been working fine with mods and everything but when I successfully install minecraft forge 1.7.10 it won't show up in the minecraft launcher profiles. it's in the versions folder of the .minecraft file and I've looked through google for a solution but have been unable to find one. I hope someone can help.
