So, unless the installer installs the .jar, there's no way to get Forge?

It goes thorough fine, states that it has successfully installed onto the launcher; but when I launch Minecraft, it comes back with an error: Failed to download file. forge-1.12.2-14.23.4.2705.jar . I have been trying to use/download forge 1.12.2 - 14.23.4.2705 for about a week now. Here is the latest log from the installer I've gotten from it: Note: I have been using the official site for Forge. It is the only site I've ever used for Forge.
